Open source and models

VisoMaster Studio is built on open-source work and keeps its license and credits.

Based on

  • VisoMaster — The original project.
  • VisoMaster Fusion — The continued project Studio is based on (v3.12.3, commit 9f9dd96).

License

The desktop application is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0, the same license as VisoMaster and VisoMaster Fusion. Buying the installer pays for the packaged, signed build and its delivery; it does not limit your rights under the GPL. The complete corresponding source code (processing backend and desktop interface) is included in every installer, inside the app bundle under Contents/Resources, and is also available on request at davie@daviechen.com.

Models

  • Models are not included in the installer and are not hosted on this website.
  • The app downloads each model from its official source when a feature needs it, and checks it with SHA-256.
  • Each model has its own license, which can differ from the code license. Some face recognition and swapping models, for example those from InsightFace, are released for non-commercial research use. Check the license of every model you use before using results commercially.
